The fuel pump's cover made of composite may be deformed because of long-term contact with fuel. The deformation may cause a pump impeller to stop and damage pump's engine, consequently stopping the motorcycle engine with no possibility to to start it. This defect can cause an accident.

One of the valves in the vehicle stability assist / anti-lock braking modulator may be kept open as a result of a small piece of valve material remaining in the valve during the manufacturing of the modulator. If the valve does not operate correctly, the anti-lock braking will not operate correctly resulting in possible wheel lock under anti-lock brake operation. This could increase the risk of a vehicle crash.
