The high-voltage battery pack can contain cells having separator damage. A damaged separator can lead to a very rapid chemical chain reaction in the battery. A short circuit in the wiring of a lamp installed in the sunvisor may cause a fire.

A defect in the control unit of the occupant restraint system may cause the front airbag and/or the seat belt pre-tensioner to activate unintentionally.

A fault with the alternator can result in the failure of the electrical systems and cause the vehicle to catch fire.

The rear suspension lower control arms on the vehicles concerned may have been incorrectly heat treated during the manufacturing process. This could cause the rear suspension lower control arm to break. A broken rear suspension lower control arm(s), during certain driving conditions, could cause a loss of vehicle control and/or a crash.

Due to a software problem, the driver may not be warned if one of the rear flashing lights stops working. The fact that the driver is unaware of this could lead to an accident in certain driving situations.

The restraint system of the airbag system does not work properly and may unexpectedly trigger the release of a front airbag and/or a belt tensioner. This may cause a road accident.

Second row seats may have missing welds between the seat back frame and the anchor of the child seat on one or both seats. As a result, the anchor can completely detach from the vehicle seat, increasing the risk of injury to the child seat occupant in case of an accident.
