The bolt of the front-axle differential gear may not meet the durability specification and could break. As a result, fragments of the bolt could block the differential gear and hence the front wheels. This could affect the control over the vehicle and increase the risk of an accident. In addition, the gear casing could be damaged and oil could leak onto the road, posing a risk to the following traffic.

The electrical resistance of the connection could increase and the temperature could rise in this area, creating a risk of fire.
